The annual UA Museum Halloween open house is “closed” this year. Access to the downstairs collections is not granted due to COVID-19. So we were tasked to get creative and produce short videos on our collections and their connection to Halloween. While the theme of this year’s Halloween event is bones, we opted to rather talk about the history of pumpkin carving and highlight some interesting botanical facts on pumpkins, turnips and root vegetables and fruits.
